Merce Cunningham Dance Company: Nearly Ninety

In tribute to the late choreographer Merce Cunningham, the Barbican presents the UK premiere of his final creation, Nearly Ninety, which premiered in New York in 2009 on his 90th birthday.

A futuristic piece, it combines elements of dance, video, lighting and music to create a powerful performance that pushes the boundaries of contemporary dance.
