Soldier’s Tale, The

However attractive the deal might appear, selling your soul to the devil is never worth the price. This fact is born out in macabre fashion by Stravinsky’s masterpiece. Based on a Russian folktale, The Soldier’s Tale was first produced in Switzerland in 1917 and is riven-through with the nightmarish atmosphere of the First World War.

Leading British dancer Adam Cooper stars.
