On a snow-covered Christmas Eve in an imaginary Italian town, a young girl journeys through the streets with just one final match to keep her warm. Along the way she encounters moments of humanity and hardship in a moving winter tale of hope, compassion and imagination.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved classic, Arthur Pita’s award-winning production combines dance, song and Frank Moon’s beautifully evocative live music into a festive theatrical experience filled with heart, humour and seasonal wonder in one of London’s most atmospheric settings.
