The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark
The Unicorn Theatre hosts the beautiful tale of The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark, perfect for young children.
Suitable for ages 2-5, The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark follows Plop, the eponymous baby barn owl. Fat, fluffy, and still learning to fly, Plop is very curious, always hungry – and afraid of the dark, not helpful as a nocturnal bird.
When Plop’s exasperated mother sends him on several trips to find out more about the night time, he meets a whole host of characters, including a small boy, an old lady, a little girl and a cat who shows him the wonder of the night.
Directed by Lee Lyford, this tale teaches children to embrace the dark.
